Achieving Coherence

Coherence is a term used in HeartMath coaching that describes a practice of building resiliency in every day life. “Coherence is the state when the heart, mind and emotions are in energetic alignment and cooperation.” *

When we are coherent, we experience better results in energy, health, creativity, problem-solving, efficiency and well-being. Often, when used by those working in high-stress environments, including military, first responders & police, high level executives, doctors, professional athletes, and students, HeartMath trains you to be at the top of your game and achieve success. Whether your goal is emotional regulation, stress reduction, weight loss/gain or boosting resilience, HeartMath can help you achieve results.

HeartMath works alongside and blends in seamlessly with any other self care practices you may practice. Or it can be a sole practice that may support your lifestyle.

While not essential to the effectiveness of the techniques, many people enjoy practicing HeartMath techniques while using HeartMath technology. The devices provide real-time monitoring of physiological and cognitive states. Heart Focused Breathing – a quick way to get calm, clear and coherent.

Whenever you find yourself drained or in a stressful situation, this breathing technique is a sure way to bring you back to balance. It seems trivial but it is the first step to create resiliency and reduce stress and anxiety in your life. Since you have to breathe anyway, take a few moments to be conscious about it and find calm and peace. You can covertly practice at work, in a meeting, in the bathroom, while in an argument or simply actively breathe to build up your capacity to act from a controlled state of being.

​First bring your attention to the center of your chest and imagine yourself breathing in and out of your heart or your chest area. Breathe a little slower and deeper than usual, Inhaling and exhaling to the count of five. You might even try to see your breath as while light or a soothing color coming in and out. Find an easy rhythm that is comfortable.

Consciously direct each loving breath in and out of the center of your heart. ​Take a few minutes, and enjoy the quality of each breath while the world goes on around you. After a few breaths you will find yourself calmer and rejuvenated.

Getting Started with Heart Math Coaching

   

                      

If you are new to HeartMath and its practices, the first step is to request a complimentary consultation.

During the call, I’ll ask you questions to better understand your current challenges and your primary goals. I’ll answer any questions you may have for me about the coaching process and HeartMath, including the pricing and to ascertain if you are interested in the HeartMath technology – an add on that can track your progress. If you are a pro at this, and have worked with HeartMath before, you may go ahead and sign up for a six week course to continue working on enhancing your practice and diving deeper into creating coherence and resilience in your life.

The HeartMath Coaching programs offer six-week courses with two distinct focuses: Coherence & Resiliency and Trauma Support & Resolution. These programs are designed to bring ease and success into your everyday life, empowering you to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and achieve your goals more effortlessly.

Leadership coherence and empowered action are transformative elements that have brought about profound change in my clients, including those who are ready to overcome trauma and self-limiting beliefs.

The journey towards positive transformation begins within. By attuning to our body, honoring our emotional needs, and listening to our innermost voice, we not only conquer persistent challenges but also rise with empowerment and vibrancy in our daily lives.

Sessions are 30 and 60 minutes long respectively and are via Internet/phone. As with any coaching program consistent sessions should take place weekly but can span over a period of 2-3 months in order to be most effective for establishing and maintaining lasting behavioral change.Single follow up sessions can be scheduled after the completion of a course.

Building Personal Resilience HeartMath Course – 6 weeks, 30 minute sessions (4 month window) – teaches how to build more coherence, achieve resilience and be more successful in the game of life.

Trauma Sensitive HeartMath Course – 6 weeks, 60 minute sessions (4 month window) – trauma resolution focused with emphasis on finding safety, obtaining clarity and making positive shifts that lead to a more fulfilling life.

The coaching package includes a manual, worksheets and email support in between sessions. Please note for efficiency and goal orientation the package does expire in 4 months.
