  Essential oils have been a big part of my world and they have often saved the day in our family. I always make sure that the oils I use are from a trusted source and are made from natural and organic ingredients without harmful additives.  My favorites from this list are lavender, lemon and eucalyptus. Lavender is a very gentle oil and has multiple uses from allergies to treating wounds and headaches. Eucalyptus is a smell I am well familiar with, as in Greece we had many eucalyptus trees around our neighborhood when I was growing up and their smell bring back childhood memories. Lemon is very invigorating and I love how it awakens my senses. If you are new to essential oils, start with one small bottle and see how you like them and how your body reacts to them before investing in large quantities. Some of the oils can be quite pricey depending on availability of source and product. Their benefits well outweigh their cost however, and they can stay in your cabinet for a long time.
